Long before the Eerits came to live on Earth they inhabited tunnels below the planet Lopacrik, which had been systematically exploited and polluted by their oppressors.

Erac, an adventurous youngster, had always been fascinated by the bleak, barren, dangerous Above and it was during an illicit foray that she stumbled across the find that was to be their only hope in the dark days to come.

The survival of every member of the Eerit Clan is dependant on her overcoming her natural diffidence and daring to undertake an adventure that is greater than anything she had every dreamed about.
