Glass painting, ceramic painting and pyrography, the art of burning design into wood, are of special interest to me and the kitchen table is constantly littered with half completed projects, scattered paintbrushes and assorted paints. Having always been particularly interested in art and craft, the challenge was to produce something to sell in the local craft shops, which was not a painting or sketch framed for posterity, but a functional and useful item which may also be taken home as a gift. The following pages are a result of that search. I hope you enjoy looking at the crafts as much as I do producing them.
